PlayStation Glitch Corrected

Some PlayStation consoles have been experiencing glitches lately as there was a problem with the internal clock. Some of these systems were programmed to thing that a leap year occurred in 2010 and therefore was adding on an extra day in February. This bug, which is reminiscent of the Y2K bug, had affected millions of users all across the globe, preventing most of them from being able to access the network setup by PlayStation. People who owned the slim PS3 station were fortunate enough to not have been effected by this problem.
A statement was made by a representative from PlayStation saying that there was a problem with the internal clocks in the PS3. The console added an extra day in February so instead of saying that it was March 1 the consol believed that the date was February 29. These problems have now been corrected and users should now be able to use their system normally.
Before the errors were corrected there was a warning sent out to users to not use their systems at all for worry that problems and data errors could occur.
