The last couple of years have seen the U.S. military increase the amount of robots it uses significantly; these robots include such things as unmanned drones. This increase of robots is forcing American enemies to take bigger dangers and risks to adapt to this technology and find ways defeating it. Things are changing all over the world and the same thing that happened with software is happening to warfare, it is going open source. This means that United States enemies and terrorists will be able to get a hold of high end technology and to top it off they will be able to purchase it for cheap prices.
The increasing use of robotics has also fuelled a change in the way that Americans are being perceived internationally. While only a few years ago there was only a couple of unmanned aircrafts there are now thousands of them in the military along with thousands of unmanned land vehicles. While the United States has a lead on the technology in warfare currently it believed that this lead will not last for much longer.
